How to get last minute Disney dining

You’ve got your trip booked, now you want to get your dining reservations made but everything is already sold out! Getting park dining reservations can be tricky. For Disneyland and Disney World, reservations become available 60 days in advance. you can look for them in a few places…

First check in the app then hit the website in 2 spots shown above from the drop down menu. The most helpful tip I can give you for these routes is to check different party numbers. If you are a party of 2 try searching for 4 ppl instead. If you are 5, search for 6 or even 8. Sometimes this helps! The next tip I can offer is to let me (your friendly neighborhood Travel Agent) do it for you when I book your trip for you ;) If you are doing it all yourself, let me suggest you let someone else do the constant rechecking for you ;) I’ll tell you about my favorite first ;)

My favorite option is Mouse Watcher. https://mousewatcher.com This has both Disneyland and Walt Disney World dining options. You can choose the park and restaurant for multiple days. For $5 it will text/email you until you cancel it or the date you are searching for passes.

If you want to search multiple restaurants you may have to join their subscription service. But one reservations per trip is ideal unless your a seasoned guest

The reason I like this service is because it will text me every time a reservation opens up and I don’t have to set it up again.

**you do have to log into your app and make the reservations yourself, this only notifies you that one is available, and you have to be quick. Last time it took me 3 times to snag Blue Bayou but I got it. Totally worth the $5 to me!

The next website is Mouse Dining https://mousedining.com They also offer Disneyland and Walt Disney World dining options. The free version will only email you which is a downside for me because I don’t have email alerts on and you have to really jump on these reservations because they go quickly!

This service will let you choose 6 restaurants. I don’t know if that means 6 a year or 6 total then you need to buy a subscription 🤷🏼‍♀️ There’s not much clarity on their website. I set up 3 restaurants to try it out. (6 means 6 at a time, unlimited uses) Last is Touring Plans https://touringplans.com/walt-disney-world/reservation-finder# I found their website a little annoying to navigate. They only offer searches for Disney World and they will only notify you once and then you need to set up the notification again but it is free 🤷🏼‍♀️ so there’s that.

Would you use a service like these to make dining reservations or try to snag them yourself??
