Disneyland’s Haunting Season is Happening Soon!

I love hitting Disneyland during the Halloween season there are so many fun things around the park and this year I’m finally going to the Oogie Boogie Bash inside California Adventure! I had big plans for 2020 to hit at least 2 after hour parties, but you know…the panny happened and here we are. So what do we have to look forward to inside the parks besides the Bash?? Let me tell you…

Starting September 3rd (through Nov 2nd) characters will be out in their Halloween costumes posing for photos. Villains will also be wandering the parks and they are so fun to interact with! Jack Skellington and Sally can be found near Haunted mansion and around New Orleans Sq. Main St will be decorated with unique carved pumpkins including the giant Mickey pumpkin. And we can’t forget the most important change…the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay inside the Haunted Mansion!! In the evenings there is a projection show set on the castle and Main Street buildings lead by Jack and his dog Zero followed by ghosts, villains and Disney Halloween music! some nights include a firework show but the schedule hasn’t been released for those dates yet.

You can celebrate Dia de Los Muertos in Frontierland with fun displays and at Paradise Gardens in California Adventure. Coco himself performs there several times throughout the day. There are fun photo ops set up and themed dishes in the Paradise Garden Grill.

After 5pm Guardians changes into Monsters After Dark with a new adventure! During Rockets rescue of the Guardians, Groot gets left behind and Rocket needs our help to get back into the museum to save him. I haven’t done this one myself and I can’t wait! This is my favorite ride!

Cars Land gets a full makeover with the cars in costumes, Luigi’s Rollickin Roadsters turns into Luigis Honkin’ Haul-oween were we can learn some new seasonal moves. There’s Halloween decor covering all of Cars Land!

And last but not least, all the seasonal goodies that are only available inside the parks! I can’t wait!
